Revision of Unit Workload Policies (PDAD&C #41)

The University of Toronto Workload Policy and Procedures for Faculty and Librarians (WLPP) provides that academic units will review their Unit Workload Policies at least every three years. Since most units completed the latest iteration of their Policies in 2015-16, it is timely for units to be reviewing their Unit Workload Policies. We are aware that many units may have begun that process and encourage all units to proceed with their reviews in accordance with the current WLPP.

If there are any substantive changes that arise from the ongoing negotiations with UTFA, we will advise you as soon as possible.

In order to assist units in the review process, the Office of the Vice-Provost, Faculty & Academic Life, will be offering best practices workshops over the next few months.
