PDAD&C Information and Meeting Dates for 2015-16

Welcome to all new and returning Principals, Deans, Academic Directors, and Chairs. All Academic Administrators who have been appointed under the Policy on the Appointment of Academic Administrators are members of this standing committee, commonly known as PDAD&C.

All PDAD&C members automatically receive the PDAD&C Weekly Digest, which includes all new content posted on memos.provost.utoronto.ca and is circulated each Friday. Assistants to PDAD&C members, as well as other administrative staff, faculty, and librarians are welcome to request subscription by submitting the online form.

While all content is considered public information, PDAD&C members play an important role in ensuring that the information they receive reaches the relevant groups in their respective units as appropriate. Concerns have been raised in past years that distribution of PDAD&C content has not been as consistent as it might be, and so we thank you in advance for working with us to improve communication and information sharing.

For the 2015-16 academic year, PDAD&C meetings will occur on the following dates from 10:10am to 12:00pm and will be held in the Governing Council Chamber, Simcoe Hall. Please note that only PDAD&C members and designated senior administrators are permitted to attend these meetings. Requests for permission to assign a designate to attend a particular meeting on your behalf should be sent to provost@utoronto.ca at least one week prior to the meeting.

• *The first meeting on September 24th will be followed by a “Get Acquainted” luncheon at the Faculty Club.

• ***A videoconferencing feed will be available in one common location at UTSC and UTM for members who wish to participate remotely: Instructional Centre, Rm. 318 (UTSC) and William G. Davis Building, Rm. 3214 (UTM).
