Re: Now Available – Provostial Guidelines on Online Assessment Invigilation

As a result of the shift in the provision of course assessments to online models due to the COVID-19 pandemic, academic administrators and course instructors have asked about the technology solutions available to support the invigilation of online assessments. Online assessment does not necessarily include invigilation. New Provostial Guidelines are available for instances where active invigilation (including eProctoring and the use of video communication tools) is being considered as part of the assessment plan. These Guidelines establish a general framework to support decisions regarding the approval and implementation of online invigilation options. The Guidelines are intended for academic administrators to support their ability to work with programs and course instructors requesting online assessment invigilation.
