Re: Extension of Professor Ryan McClelland as Acting Dean, Faculty of Music (PDAD&C #35)

Further to PDAD&C #14, 2023-24, I am pleased to announce that the Agenda Committee of Academic Board has approved an extension to the appointment of Professor Ryan McClelland as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Music from June 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, while the current Dean, Professor Ellie Hisama, takes up a prestigious fellowship for the fall term at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey during a six-month administrative leave further to the terms of her appointment. 

Professor McClelland has served as Acting Dean from June 29, 2023, and I deeply appreciate his ongoing service to the Faculty of Music.
