Re: Consultations of the Expert Panel on Education and Prevention of Sexual Violence (PDAD&C #70)

As part of the University’s continuing Action Plan on Preventing and Responding to Sexual Violence, in May 2016, I struck an Expert Panel on Education and Prevention of Sexual Violence. This Expert Panel has a mandate to provide me with principles to guide the development of evidence-based training and education related to sexual violence prevention, and to provide advice and guidance on updating the content and delivery of existing programs.

The Expert Panel invites feedback on its draft principles from students, staff, and faculty either online or in person. Members of the University community can read the principles and provide feedback online through the consultation website. Online consultation will remain open until April 10, 2017. For the schedule of in-person consultation sessions, please visit the Office of the Vice-President & Provost’s website.

I would ask you to engage with the consultation process as you see fit and to encourage other members of the University community to do so as well.
