Re: Call for Proposals — Graduate Education Innovation Fund

The Graduate Education Innovation Fund (GEIF) is a SGS initiative that aims to enrich the learning experience of graduate students in our programs by supporting projects that create positive, innovative changes in the design and delivery of graduate education. The fund was launched in Fall 2021 and is now seeking proposals for its second round of funding in April 2022. Five seed grants of $5000 will be provided to graduate faculty members looking to implement innovative educational practices in their teaching, mentorship, or curriculum.

University of Toronto faculty members are eligible to apply, and applications can include graduate student collaborators as appropriate. SGS will be offering a virtual information session for potential applicants on March 2, from 3:15 pm to 4 pm. We ask that participants please register in advance for this Zoom event.

Applications for the next round of funding are due on April 1, 2022.  Please review the GEIF website to learn more about application requirements and process. We also encourage potential applicants to learn about our funded proposals from Fall 2021.
