Re: Call for Proposals — Access Programs University Fund (PDAD&C #36)

The Access Programs University Fund (APUF) – espousing the University’s values of access and equity and the President’s three priorities – is calling for proposals for the 2023-24 academic year.

Fund Overview

The University of Toronto has a long-standing commitment to outreach and access – currently there are over 130 access programs across the institution. The University is committed to ensuring that students from communities that are underrepresented in universities see and experience U of T as a place where they belong and can succeed. The purpose of this fund is to provide financial resources to help local units develop new and enhance existing programs dedicated to providing opportunities and support for students who, without intervention, would not access or thrive in post-secondary education.

Application Process

The Access Programs University Fund (APUF) operates through a two-step application process:

  1. Consultation with the Access Strategy & Partnerships Office (ASPO) to discuss your proposal (by May 16, 2023);
  2. Submission of a full application package. Deadline: June 16, 2023.

To arrange an initiative proposal consultation meeting with ASPO, please email: access@utoronto.ca. Please include “APUF Consultation” in the subject line of your email and preferred meeting date and time options for those who plan to attend.

The application process is conducted entirely online using the provided submissions forms. No hard copy or email submissions will be accepted.
