I am pleased to announce the creation of a new vice-provostial role effective July 1, 2021. This position, the Vice-Provost, Strategic Enrolment Management, will champion a student-centric approach to enrolment activities, take a proactive role in engaging with divisional leaders, and continue to implement process and technology transformation that supports institutional and divisional goals.

This role builds on the excellent work undertaken by Professor Dwayne Benjamin in enhancing coordination of enrolment-related activities across the University. Professor Benjamin was appointed as the Provostial Advisor on Recruitment, Enrolment, and Educational Space & Technology (as announced in PDAD&C #76)..  

As such, I invite nominations of individuals to be considered as Vice-Provost, Strategic Enrolment Management.

The Vice-Provost, Strategic Enrolment Management, working closely with divisions, holds responsibility for tri-campus recruitment, admissions, registrarial and enrolment services.  As well, the Vice-Provost holds responsibility for academic scheduling, classroom technology support and accommodated test and exam services on the St. George campus.
