Call for Nominations – Advisory Committee for the Director of the Transitional Year Programme (PDAD&C #22)

Francis Ahia will conclude his term as Director of the Transitional Year Programme on June 30, 2016.

In keeping with University practices, I am writing to call for nominations of individuals to serve on an advisory committee for the appointment of a new Director.

The advisory committee will begin to meet as soon as possible.

The Committee membership will be drawn from the following estates:

• Three to five members of the teaching staff appointed to the programme;
• one or two students where appropriate;
• two to four other qualified individuals, at least two of whom shall be from outside the programme;
• The Vice-Provost, Students will serve as Committee Chair.

Nominations for the committee should be sent by January 25, 2016 using the webform or by email to the attention of Joan Griffin, Assistant Director, Office of the Vice Provost Students, at joan.griffin@utoronto.ca. If nominating via email, please include the following information: nominee’s name and contact information, the group the individual is part of (i.e. TYP student, TYP staff or faculty, faculty member elsewhere at the University, staff elsewhere at the University) as well as a few words as to why you believe they should be appointed to this committee.
