As announced on April 6, 2021, Professor Joe Wong was recently appointed as Vice-President, International.  Professor Wong was previously Associate Vice-President and Vice-Provost, International Student Experience. 

As such, we invite nominations of individuals to be considered as Associate Vice-President and Vice-Provost, International Student Experience.  Interested individuals may self-nominate.  The role reports to both the Vice-President International and to the Vice-President & Provost.

The Associate Vice-President and Vice-Provost, International Student Experience (AVP-VP ISE) holds responsibility for academic leadership in the areas of learning abroad opportunities for students, global engagement opportunities for all University of Toronto students through curricular and co-curricular initiatives, and international student experience across all three campuses.  They also collaborate closely with the Vice-Provost Strategic Enrollment Management on international student recruitment. The AVP-VP ISE works closely with academic divisions across the three campuses, and oversees the tri-campus Centre for International Experience in collaboration with the Vice-Provost, Students. The appointment is for a five-year term.
