Professor Brown holds a number of other titles, including the Dalla Lana Chair in Public Health Policy and Scientist at Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Professor Brown has extensive leadership experience in various health-related sectors, from policy leadership with the Ontario Ministry of Health and other agencies provincially and nationally, to spearheading complex training challenges such as the IDEAS Program involving partnerships among multiple universities.
Professor Brown is highly regarded for his engaged and collegial leadership style as well as for his proficiency with the University’s budget model and administrative processes. His long-standing relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external constituents of the School and his familiarity with the School’s vision will provide continuity to the diverse landscape of DLSPH over the next year.
