On June 30, 2020, Professor Susan McCahan will end her current terms as Vice-Provost, Academic Programs, and Vice-Provost, Innovations in Undergraduate Education. Professor McCahan is eligible for reappointment. 

The Vice-Provost, Academic Programs holds responsibility for academic quality assurance and curricular innovation across the entire University. The Vice-Provost, Innovations in Undergraduate Education works closely with academic divisions across the three campuses to assess and improve undergraduate education. The portfolio leads the re-examination and re-thinking of undergraduate education at U of T in line with the University’s three priorities, as described by President Gertler in his Installation Address and Discussion Paper.

On June 30, 2020, Professor Sandy Welsh will end her current term as Vice-Provost, Students. Professor Welsh is eligible for reappointment.

The Office of the Vice-Provost, Students works closely with Principals, Deans, academic divisions, and other offices across the three campuses to enhance the student experience at the University of Toronto. The portfolio is also responsible for University-wide policies and procedures affecting students.
