Welcome to all new and returning Principals, Deans, Academic Directors, and Chairs. All Academic Administrators who have been appointed under the Policy on the Appointment of Academic Administrators are members of this standing committee, commonly known as PDAD&C.

All PDAD&C members automatically receive the Provost’s Weekly Digest each Friday, which includes all new content posted on memos.provost.utoronto.ca. Assistants to PDAD&C members, as well as other administrative staff, faculty, and librarians are welcome to request subscription by submitting the online form.

Content in the Provost’s Weekly Digest is considered public information and PDAD&C members play an important role in ensuring that the information reaches the relevant groups in their respective units. Concerns have been raised in past years that distribution of PDAD&C content has not been as consistent as it could be, and so we thank you in advance for working with us to improve communication and information sharing, with faculty, staff, and students.

For the 2018-19 academic year, PDAD&C meetings will occur on the following dates from 10:10am to 12:00pm; please note that meetings will convene on St. George Campus, with videoconferencing to UTM and UTSC as detailed below. Agendas will be sent directly to committee members in advance of each meeting. Administrative staff in need of the agenda should contact their PDAD&C member.

Please note that only PDAD&C members and designated senior administrators are permitted to attend these meetings. Requests for permission to assign a designate to attend a particular meeting on behalf of a member should be sent to provost@utoronto.ca at least one week prior to the meeting.

The first meeting on October 4 will be followed by a “Get Acquainted” luncheon hosted by the Faculty Club. Please RSVP to provost@utoronto.ca to confirm your attendance at the lunch.
