Re: | Call for Nominations – The Next 36 |
On Monday, September 19 at 4:00pm, I will be hosting a reception to introduce selected University of Toronto students to The Next 36 program. The Next 36 program selects 36 top students from across Canada and provides an intensive entrepreneurship and mentorship program with some of Canada’s top business leaders; up to $50,000 in seed funding, and educational programming in entrepreneurship and leadership. I am asking for your assistance in nominating prospective student candidates who are well suited for this unique educational opportunity, and who:
- Are under 30 years of age;
- Are an undergraduate or graduate student in their last two years of study, or who have graduated within the past year;
- Are a Canadian citizen;
- Have an entrepreneurial interest or track-record;
- Have demonstrated a strong academic performance;
- Have excellent leadership skills.
Nominated students will be invited to the above reception and information session on September 19 where they will have the opportunity to learn about The Next 36 program, network with alumni, executives, and staff from the program, and learn more about the application process. I encourage you to help us continue our history of excellence and nominate student candidates by forwarding their names and email addresses to olivia.tomic@utoronto.ca by Friday, September 9.
