Re: Call for Proposals — Access Programs University Fund (PDAD&C #31)
The Access Programs University Fund (APUF) – espousing the University’s values of access and equity and the President’s three priorities – is calling for proposals for the 2025-26 academic year.
Fund Overview
The University of Toronto has a long-standing commitment to outreach and access – currently there are over 100 access and outreach programs across the institution. The University is committed to ensuring that students from communities that are underrepresented in universities see and experience U of T as a place where they belong and thrive. The purpose of this fund is to provide financial resources to help local units develop new and enhance existing programs dedicated to providing opportunities and support for students who, without intervention, would not access or thrive in post-secondary education.
Application Process
The Access Programs University Fund (APUF) operates through a two-step application process:
- Consultation with the Access Strategy & Partnerships Office (ASPO) to discuss your proposal (by April 28, 2025);
- Submission of a full application package. Deadline: May 26, 2025.
To arrange a proposal consultation with ASPO, please use the APUF Consultation Bookings link for meeting-time options. Please provide emails of any colleagues who plan to attend in the ‘Guest emails’ field and your academic unit or department.
The application process is conducted entirely online using the provided submissions forms. No hard copy or email submissions will be accepted.
