Re: Call for Proposals – 2020-21 Learning and Education Advancement Fund (PDAD&C #)
The Provost’s Learning and Education Advancement Fund (LEAF) was established to enrich the learning experience of undergraduate students in first-entry Divisions across the University by supporting projects that anticipate, leverage, and create positive changes in both the modes and mechanisms of undergraduate education. Administered by the Office of the Vice-Provost, Innovations in Undergraduate Education, the Fund provides academic divisions, units, and faculty members with a means to develop and enhance impactful teaching practices across a range of learning environments at the University.
Funding Streams and Application Timelines
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Impact Grant stream will not be offered during the 2020-21 funding cycle, as the program undergoes a 5-year review.
Applications for the Seed Grant stream will still be accepted by the Office of the Vice-Provost, Innovations in Undergraduate Education according to the following timeline:
- Seed Grant ($5,000-$15,000 per year for up to three years) applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Consult your Dean’s Office prior to developing a proposal in order to determine if a local review process is required prior to submission.
Final proposals are to be submitted online. Information on applicant eligibility and proposal requirements, including downloadable proposal templates, can also be found through the linked site.
