Congratulations to the 2019 Provost’s Postdoctoral Fellows!

I am delighted to share the names of the recipients from the first two cycles of the Provost’s Postdoctoral Fellowship program. The program provides funding to increase opportunities for hiring postdoctoral fellows from underrepresented groups, specifically Indigenous and/or Black researchers who demonstrate excellence and high potential for success in their chosen fields. The University is committed to fostering increased diversity and representation at all levels of teaching, learning and research. Call for Nominations: Winter 2020

The University of Toronto Provost’s Postdoctoral Fellowship program  is now accepting applications for the Winter 2020 competition. The Postdoctoral Fellowship program provides funding to increase opportunities for hiring postdoctoral fellows from underrepresented groups, specifically Indigenous and/or Black researchers. These fellowships will enable postdoctoral researchers to grow their scholarly profiles, undertake academic work at the University of Toronto, and strengthen the research environment at the University with diverse perspectives.

Funding will be available to engage seven postdoctoral fellows per year for up to twenty-one postdoctoral fellows over the three-year pilot program, currently in its third cycle.

Faculty Research Offices are encouraged to establish an internal deadline, application and selection process before forwarding nominations to the School of Graduate Studies by May 1, 2020.
