University Professor Jutta Brunnée’s term as Dean of the Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law has been extended from January 1, 2026 to January 31, 2026. More information about the work of the Advisory Committee for the Dean, Faculty of Law will be forthcoming early in the new year.

Following a detailed review of the current meal allowance per diem reimbursement rates by the Financial Services Department, the rates will change to $100 CAD per day for travel in Canada and $125 CAD per day for travel outside of Canada, effective January 1, 2026.

In response to the recommendations of the Co-Chairs Report on the Review of the University’s Statement on Prohibited Discrimination and Discriminatory Harassment , the University is creating a new policy to address discrimination and harassment under the Ontario Human Rights Code. The Vice-President & Provost and Vice-President, People Strategy, Equity & Culture welcome your feedback on the draft principles and key elements for the new policy. The online consultation survey will close January 31.
