On May 14, 2020, the Governing Council approved the appointment of Professor Alexandra Gillespie as Vice-President, University of Toronto and Principal, University of Toronto Mississauga, for a five-year term. Professor Gillespie is eligible for reappointment. In accordance with Section 62 (b) of the Policy on Appointment of Academic Administrators, this is a call for nominations of individuals to serve on the committee that will advise on the appointment of a Vice-President and Principal. Nominations for membership on the Advisory Committee should be sent by December 20.

The new Healthy Research Teams Seed Fund supports activities that promote healthy research practices at the University of Toronto. The purpose of the fund is to improve the experience of working in research teams at our institution by encouraging the development of new initiatives and accelerating the impact of already successful initiatives. Applications are open for proposals of up to $5,000 until February 28.
