Now Available – New Resources for International Graduate Students (PDAD&C #54)

The School of Graduate Studies is pleased to announce the launch of two resources developed to support international students before and after their transition to graduate school at the University of Toronto: the SGS International Graduate Student Portal and Gradschool e-news – International edition. In addition to recognizing the unique needs and challenges that international graduate students may experience as they embark on a graduate career in Canada, these resources recognize the important contributions that international students make each year to our graduate and undergraduate communities.

The SGS International Graduate Student Portal consolidates information on the broad range of services and resources available to international graduate students across all three campuses. Ongoing consultations with international graduate students and representatives from the University’s international student services have informed the Portal’s content, which will continue to expand. Beginning this month, all registered international graduate students will receive an ‘International’ edition of Gradschool e-news, the electronic newsletter distributed monthly by the School of Graduate Studies. Featuring regular contributions by international students and prioritizing registrarial information, events, and services for international graduate students, the newsletter streamlines access to key news and deadlines while promoting a greater sense of community among international graduate students.

University community members who wish to receive a monthly edition of the International and/or Domestic version of Gradschool e-news, are invited to request a subscription. For additional information, to contribute content, and/or to share feedback on these resources, please contact:
